Children’s Picture Book

One of the assignments in our literacy class was to create a children’s picture book. The purpose of the book was to create a visual product that could be a teaching strategy for our toolbox. One of the criteria was that the book needs to have a message but not be preachy and should be something we connect to or interests us. It was rewarding to see the book come together and the story come to life through the pictures. And it showed me technology can be helpful in a classroom as the images for my book were done with AI. I am already thinking of other ideas for books and saw the value in doing this with students.
